Myawareness Mindful Yoga Studio - Mindful Movement, Yoga Bristol and Meditation Bristol

The MBLC course is a eight week course consisting of 8 sessions, each session is 2 hours long. There is also a Day of Silent Practice between week 6 and 7 of the course. One month after the course we offer a Follow Up session.

 

Each 2  hour session consists of explanation, guided practices and reflection. Printed hand-outs and recorded guided practices in CD format will also be provided, including links to further information and research.

 

Your facilitator, Martin Boulanger (founder of Myawareness ®) is a full member of the Mindfulness Association. Martin has been trained by the MA and is accredited  to deliver the 8 week MBLC.

 

Once you have completed the course there is ongoing support in the form of daily mindful movement/mindfulness classes held at the Myawareness ® Studio, offering you the opportunity to truly make mindfulness a part of your life.

OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE

The Mindfulness Based Living Course (MBLC) is based on the work of international mindfulness teacher Rob Nairn. It is similar to other programmes but with a key difference: whilst focused on developing mindfulness, the MBLC also introduces methods for nurturing self-compassion and compassion for others.

ABOUT THE MINDFULNESS BASED LIVING COURSE

This course is for anyone who is new to mindfulness or meditation. It is also suitable should you wish to deepen your existing meditation or mindfulness practice. The aims of this course are to help you develop an in-depth personal experience of mindfulness and to develop a sustained personal practice which can be applied to your everyday life.
