Myawareness Mindful Yoga Studio - Mindful Movement, Yoga Bristol and Meditation Bristol

Mindfulness courses are traditionally offered over an 8-week period, however, Myawareness ® is now offering this popular course over 3 modules of 3 weeks. The weekly sessions are 2 hours long and consist of explanation, guided practices and reflection. The sessions are on Monday evenings 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm, with a Day of Silent Practice on a Saturday during Module 3 only.

 

You’ll receive printed handouts as well as recorded guided practices in the format of your choice (cd, Mp3, Dropbox)

The modules will run throughout the rest of the year, as per the schedule below. The breaks between Module 1, 2 and 3 allow time for you to fully embrace each practice.  You can choose to do each module when it suits you, but it's necessary to do them in order. You can also repeat any module, before you carry on with the next one.

 

On completion of all the modules participants will be able to attend 40 min monthly sessions on Monday evenings free of charge. These sessions are perfect opportunities to revisit any of the practices and also to meet fellow Mindfulness practitioners.

 

Your facilitator, Martin Boulanger (founder of Myawareness ®) is a full member of the Mindfulness Association. Martin has been trained by the MA and to deliver the MBLC.

 

Once you have completed the course there is ongoing support in the form of daily mindful movement/mindfulness classes held at the Myawareness ® Studio, offering you the opportunity to truly make mindfulness a part of your life.

OVERVIEW OF THE COURSE

The Mindfulness Based Living Course is based on the work of international Mindfulness teacher Rob Nairn. It has been compiled by The Mindfulness Association.
 

Throughout the course there is emphasis placed on creating an atmosphere of Kindness within the Mind. Loving Kindness or Compassion is the fundamental attitude of Mindfulness and the basis for Self-acceptance and Transformation.

ABOUT THE MINDFULNESS BASED LIVING COURSE

This course is for anyone who is new to mindfulness or meditation. It is also suitable should you wish to deepen your existing meditation or mindfulness practice. The aims of this course are to help you develop an in-depth personal experience of mindfulness and to develop a sustained personal practice which can be applied to your everyday life.

Should the course not have enough attendants it will be cancelled and all monies refunded. An alternative course date will then be arranged.
